Probably Futile . . .

. . . but it's good to see more and more Catholic clergy showing some backbone:

Scotland's most senior Catholic has come under fire for claiming that plans to allow gay couples to adopt were "gravely immoral".
Writing in a national newspaper, Cardinal Keith O'Brian said Scottish Executive plans to allow unmarried and same sex couples to adopt would put children "in peril". The comments have been dismissed by gay rights activists.
