A beer launched in southern India claims to vitamin rich and protect the liver from harmful effects of alcohol.
Ladybird Bio Beer contains aloe-vera extracts as well as the normal ingredients of barley malt and hops, said inventor B. Srinivas Amarnath, whose product has attracted world-wide interest.
Bio Beer is already being exported to Canada, and inquiries have come from Malaysia and the United States, he said, adding that a delegation from the United Kingdom had visited and had shown interest in the product.
