In New Hampshire, a minor needs parental consent to use a tanning salon, to get a tattoo, to get body piercing, or take an aspirin while at school.
But a minor doesn't need parental consent to take the morning-after pill, thanks to recent legislation. The governor even attended a victory party after the legislation's passage.
The New Hampshire Cornerstone Policy Research organization asks:
What was so special about this piece of legislation? Why was it so important for the state to remove parental oversight in this matter of health? Why does it deserve such joy and excitement?
If you follow the money trail, you should ask, who benefits? Could it be a political contribution from the multi-million dollar a year abortion industry? Is this why your governor was so happy to request, encourage and sign this bill into law?
Good questions.
