Bad Movie

Well, just when I think Hollywood can't produce anything worse (than Scott Pilgrim), it comes out with Zookeeper. Holy moley, it was bad. I didn't want to go (one magazine said the movie will "appeal only to hard-core Kevin James fans"), but my little kids missed out on the last movie outing because it wasn't appropriate for children, and then Marie wanted to take the older kids to Harry Potter. Sooooo, to prevent indignation, I volunteered to take the little ones to Zookeeper. No good deed goes unpunished. * * * * * * * And to be honest, Zookeeper wasn't as bad as Scott Pilgrim. Pilgrim sucked so bad, Marie and I left after an hour, and I had to sleep on the couch for a week. Nor was Zookeeper as bad as Van Helsuck. I'd put Zookeeper in the same category as Night in the Museum Part II. Sucks, but not an insult to the human race. * * * * * * * Sales of The Adventures are going well. The book is now "#21,808 Paid in Kindle Store." It doesn't sound great, but when it first went up (with just one sale--to me), it was #66,000. I'm also gratified that, under "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought," there are four books now, and all of them are GKC books. If you're on Facebook, please check The Adventures of Beer Man page. It's a work-in-process, but it's growing. Lots of brew news.
