Thursday
It's the 35th Annual Scheske Open today. I golf only once a year, and today's the day. I'm a little wiped out right now, due to the Open Eve festivities, so just an abbreviated TDE today.
First, the Kindle for PC is easy to install and The Adventures of Beer Man looks halfway decent on it. I put the software and the book on a friend's computer yesterday.
Second, book announcement: The Universe According to G. K. Chesterton: A Dictionary of the Mad, Mundane and Metaphysical. Dale Ahlquist put it together. He likens it to Samuel Johnson's dictionary. It's a good comparison, but this dictionary might be better. Highly recommended.
Third, this great quote from Zero Hedge about the debt ceiling debate that ratcheted up another level yesterday, "Either Congress has become the best orchestrated reality TV show in history or . . . the market should really consider panicking soon." Link.
