I'm not a big fan of Wikihow, but once in awhile, they run something interesting. This piece caught my eye earlier this week: How to Cook Deep Fried Beer. Unfortunately, the notorious Sierra Nevada brewery snags a spot, but if you can overlook that contretemps, the rest of the list is pretty good. I especially liked the Brewery Ommegang inclusion. I've heard first-hand that it's a great place. * * * * * * * I don't know anything about the Cleveland International Beer Fest, but I like this convenient list of beers that won awards at this year's event. Lots of good drinking ideas.
