A friend took over my son's little league team this year, thereby leaving me free to spend some time with my other kids. So last night, I trekked an hour to my daughter's Varsity soccer game. I didn't get back until late, so blogging is light today. Just a few things: R. Emmett Tyrrell raises an interesting point: Since 1972, the Democrats have only run "chronic campaigners." He says Obama's prompt announcement is consistent with the way Democrats have campaigned since McGovern: tireless campaigning, with little attention to governing.
