But then 100,000 fish, too? Too bizarre. \* \* \* \* \* \* \* How will the United States pay all those social security obligations? Easy: seize private IRAs. [I guess it's his tenth book, depending on how you count](http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr%5Ftc%5F2%5F0?rh=i%3Astripbooks%2Ck%3ASteve+Martin&keywords=Steve+Martin&ie=UTF8&qid=1294102253&sr=1-2-ent&field-contributor%5Fid=B000AP7BIE&ref=thedailyeudemon.com), but his first full-blown novel. As a teenager, I read *Cruel Shoes* and enjoyed it, but even at age 16, I was embarrassed that I enjoyed it.
