Tuesday Miscellany
I'm leaning toward the Alex Jones explanation on this one: Government secret testing may have killed all those fish and birds in Arkansas. Sure, violent weather could've killed the birds, I guess, though I've never heard of such a thing. But then 100,000 fish, too? Too bizarre. * * * * * * * How will the United States pay all those social security obligations? Easy: seize private IRAs. It has already started in Europe. Once the European countries get away with it, American lawmakers will label opponents of confiscation as "reactionaries" and "obstructionists." * * * * * * * Marc Faber's predictions for 2011. * * * * * * * I didn't know that one of my all-time favorite performers, Steve Martin, had written a novel. I also didn't know it apparently sucks. I guess it's his tenth book, depending on how you count, but his first full-blown novel. As a teenager, I read Cruel Shoes and enjoyed it, but even at age 16, I was embarrassed that I enjoyed it.
