We're not posting a Weekend Eudemon this morning. Eric is preparing to attend an out-of-town wedding, which means light packing and getting the babysitters situated for his children. Too much stuff, too little time.

Note: We plan to discontinue "The Punchy Journal." Despite repeat notices that the feature is not autobiographical, we continue to get e-mails, asking how Eric could have done "X" or said "Y." We don't like to confuse readers and we obviously haven't done a good enough job of conveying the nature of the feature. We'll replace it with something else, though we're not sure what.

Also note: We plan to add a message board once the web host switch is done. This will allow readers to post messages for others to read, but we're hoping (i) it is less susceptible to spam than the ordinary comments feature, and (ii) it will take less effort to monitor. We'll provide more detail once the board is up.
