During Sweeps, Every Three Minutes

More annoyance driven by advertising. Then again, these people have volunteered to be annoyed and, quite frankly, we, too, would have a hard time turning down the opportunity to get our vote to count in the ratings:

Nielsen will now be interrupting Nielsen people meter users every 42 minutes, reminding them to register their viewing. Previously, interruptions would occur only when the channel was changed. Isn't advertising a wonderful thing?
