Consistent with past practice, I won't be blogging today since Internet surfing drops dramatically on the holidays, though I will take this opportunity to wish the Hinge Man a happy birthday. The "Hinge Man" is my son, Michael, who turns 12 today and sits at the crucial Four Spot in our line of children: three older, three younger, Michael in the middle, bridging the gap.
