For the next week, readers will probably notice that TDE is different. There will be fewer posts and the fare will be a little odd. Eric Scheske will be on undercover assignment in Mogadishu, Somalia to recover holy relics of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church that were stolen by Mamelukes in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries and taken to Mogadishu. Eric's mission is to blend in with Somalia's unique Negro Semitic peoples. Given Eric's fair skin, this could be tough, but there's no one else to undertake the mission. Ever since Black Hawk Down, the secret Vatican forces haven't been able to find volunteers to go into Somalia, so the job fell to Eric.
