Highly recommended: Volume 15 in the Major Conservative and Libertarian Thinkers series focuses on the American Economist, Murray Rothbard. Unfortunately, it's $130 $192 (that's not a typo). Needless to say, I haven't read it because, well, I just recently heard of it and that price tag has me a bit shell shocked. So why do I recommend it? Because it's by Gerard Casey, who emailed me yesterday out of the blue, thanking me for my kind words in this post. He warned me that the book is a bit pricey, and I thought to myself: "Heck, I might be inclined to splurge $50 on it." Then I saw the sticker. If anybody knows of a used copy, let me know. And if you haven't listened to that podcast by Casey, do so . . . immediately. Great stuff. * * * * * * * One of the coolest links of the year: History of the U.S. Presidency. Very neat. * * * * * * * I don't know whether I've plugged The Daily Bell yet. If not, consider it plugged. It has good content and a unique but enjoyable approach to its stories.
