I'd be happy to relinquish my right to make fun of the king's hairline and foreign policy blunders, if it meant I could enjoy the tax structures of the Middle Ages. We have the right to yell "You're stupid" at the local mayor, but we're on the verge of losing the right to select our own health care coverage. I'll be obsequious toward the mayor. Just let me keep my earnings and pay my doctor however I deem fit.
