Tennessee resident Michael Oliver is accused of pulling a fire alarm at Applebee's, after being refused a drink. Link.
"Eatin' good in the neighborhood" is Applebee's slogan, but it might as well be "Get the H*** out of the neighborhood." According to workers at Applebee's, franchisees have strict standards for getting patrons seated, served, and out within forty or so minutes. We've experienced the crunch ourselves. Although always courteous, the waitresses make it clear that you're not to lounge over a drink after dinner.
Perhaps kicking this guy out was just Applebee's way of meeting the quick turn-around standards.
