Ted Turner spoke to CNN employees yesterday about making the network more serious. It now trails Fox in the ratings.

But Ted is still proud of his network, calling it his greatest professional achievement and even claiming partial credit for ending the Cold War. When CNN correspondent Christiane Amanpour asked if he honestly thought he contributed, he said, "I'm absolutely certain I did."
