Dr. Frasier Crane Goes Pro Gay

Representatives of the nation's top psychiatric group approved a statement Sunday urging legal recognition of gay marriage. If approved by the association's directors in July, the measure would make the American Psychiatric Association the first major medical group to take such a stance.

If memory serves, the APA has supported most forms of licentiousness in the recent past. It's part of the relativism that's in the APA's blood: there aren't sins, there are just disorders; there aren't bums, they're patients. There's nothing that a little therapy and social conditioning can't cure. The result? There's nothing to be condemned, and the profession's stances can float with the political breeze.
