(1) You're a Detroit Lions fan. (2) You've ran out of beer and the grocery stores are closed. (3) Your wife put on a lot of weight and she never bought into the 1970s mores. No wait! Those are three *good* reasons to consider anti-depressants. The three reasons listed in the article are considerably more mundane.

You ever feel stupid and dense? I've been reading anarcho-capitalist-libertarian stuff for a couple of years now, and I've never asked this question: [Why does a government with fiat money tax the populace?](http://www.reddit.com/r/Anarchism/comments/99b5q/why%5Fdoes%5Fa%5Fgovernment%5Fwith%5Ffiat%5Fmoney%5Ftax%5Fthe/?ref=thedailyeudemon.com) I'm sure the authors I've been reading address this question, but I've never seen it raised, much less answered. Perhaps the best answer from the link's comments section: ". . . if you get rid of taxes and go based solely on printing money then you lose the functionality of having a tax code and with it one of the main ways a government feels it can influence the economy. It would also amount to a flat tax which many people (myself included) would feel would be more unfair the less money you have."
