Life takes me in a headlock. No time for blogging. Just one quick thing:
Gonna have to read it: B16's new encyclical on ethics and the economy, Caritas In Veritate. Good thing is, I think Benedict XVI writes better than John Paul II. Someone once said that JPII wrote like a Slav, and that means a circular way of writing, which means (from what I could gather) that he hits the same points over and over but at different levels, swirling around and around like a coin going down one of those funnel charity well. I don't know if that's true, but I did have a hard time reading him, even though I know he was brilliant. I guess B16 writes more in the Western European tradition, which I can apparently digest much easier.
