First I read about the reverse scam artists that I posted about yesterday, today I read this: US prosecutors said they captured on Wednesday a nefarious Internet marketer responsible so much junk e-mail they called him "Spam King." . . . If convicted as charged, Soloway will face a maximum sentence of more than 65 years in prison and a fine of 250,000 dollars. Put him in maximum security with the sodomites. (Okay, I'm not feeling particularly merciful today.)

Further evidence that you can find anything at Wal-Mart: A woman's fall in a puddle of vomit has resulted in a lawsuit against Wal-Mart. June Medema, slipped in the vomit at a Davenport Wal-Mart on June 13, 2005, according to the lawsuit, filed by Medema and her husband, James, in Scott County District Court earlier this month.

I like a guy who's unequivocal in his decision making. I also like his sense of timing (see third paragraph):

The free market turns to capture the obese sector.

The products are in "LivingXL,'' an online and print catalog launched in May by the parent company of Casual Male XL, the nation's largest chain of men's plus-size clothing and apparel stores. Casual Male Retail Group hopes to parlay the marketing know-how from its 500 stores into the largely untapped market for specialty products that make life easier for the growing population of obese men and women.
