Is it me, or does the science of drinking keep "upping" the healthy consumption levels? At first, we were told a glass of red wine after work could help the heart. Then we were told it would help the heart. Then we were told a couple of glasses of wine comes with various health advantages. Then beer got into the mix and, if memory serves, even hard liquor.

And now, a scientist claims that a bottle of wine every day or a six-pack of beer every day is alright . . . and that over-drinking is better than abstaining. Link.
