Nerds Gone Wild

I'm trying to get away from using Mozilla Firefox. For the past few months, it's simply been performing horribly: slow, repeated connection problems.

I've started using Google Chrome, but it's one of those softwares that is too sophisticated for words, and to an amateur like me, appears to suck. Example: Sometimes, Google Chrome opens with my tabs at the top, other times it opens with my tabs on the front page like so many links, other times it opens with no tabs at all. To me, it just appears that Chrome is broken, but there's no doubt something too sophisticated for this random user to understand.

I'm increasingly coming to hate the Internet, Windows, Apple, and everything else that simply can't stop itself from innovating so quickly that you need to dedicate ten hours a month to studying all the changes. I'm sure this will get better as I grow older (chuckle).

My only hope: people like me who can't "hang" with the updates simply give up, thereby forcing the nerds to slow-the-hell down or lose customer base. Absurd hope? Probably, but (i) I and other people I know have already abandoned Facebook, in part because it wouldn't stop with all the changes, and (ii) even my law office's computer tech guy (considered the best in the area) says he's simply fed up with all the innovation. He agrees with me that the nerds are completely out of control and ruining a great thing.
