When should you drink coffee or tea? Not the first thing in the morning, according to this blog post. Your body naturally “self-caffeinates” for the first few hours, so you shouldn’t need any caffeine until 9:30 or later. Later in the morning, your body starts to self-caffeinate again, with the result that you shouldn’t need any more caffeine until 1:30 or later.
