My indoor herb gardening is doing fairly well. I started everything from seed. The basil, oregano, chives, and lavender look like they’ll make it. Unfortunately, I forgot to label the other herb pots so I’m not sure what I have. I know I have rosemary, thyme, another kind of basil, parsley, cilantro, and stevia, but I don’t know which plant is which. Among the “mystery herbs,” this one is doing the best. Anyone know what it is?
I know it’s fundamental that you’re supposed to label your plants, but I wasn’t really expecting these to sprout and take root (I was using a new method and cheap planting media). I was just kind of experimenting.
I was reading today in a meditation on the Luminous Mysteries (the first one, the Wedding Feast at Cana) that wine is the Biblical symbol of joy. Rightly so. And it’s also flat-out righteous that the first ever Toledo Diocese Catholic Men’s Conference is being held on March 16th at the SeaGate Center in downtown Toledo, and the Toledo Glass City Wine Festival is being held on March 16th . . . at the SeaGate Center. Catholic men of Ohio: You’ve done struck it rich. Have fun.
