Smashwords

Whew. This ebook publishing thing is a real hassle. A friend recommended I try Smashwords. I downloaded their free "how-to" books and re-formatted Beer Man. It took over two hours. I then received an error message, which I think is now fixed, but heck if I know. Regardless, Beer Man is at Smashwords. You can now download it here for reading on your Nook, Sony Reader, Kobo, Stanza, and other devices. You can also download the pdf or plain paper version. It will, hopefully, be available at Barnes & Noble, Borders, Apple, and other ebook stores within a couple of weeks. I will (of course) post updates.

"Lately it seems we are hearing a lot from rich folks who think that their taxes are too low and would like to pay more to bring down the debt. Well, guess what? All they have to do is go here and this website will explain how they can give as much as they want to the government. Warren Buffett, what's stopping you?" Mary Kochan.

She then provides a link to pay.gov:

Welcome to the United States Treasury's site for making donations to help reduce the public debt. If you would like to make a donation, please fill in the required fields and click the Submit Data button when completed.

The American Chesterton Society is giving away Dale Ahlquist's new book to anyone who becomes a member of the Society. The annual dues are $42. It's not a bad deal. Membership gets you a subscription to Gilbert, a discount at the ACS store, and various mailings throughout the year. It now (until September 30th) gets you a free book. Link.
