Miscellaneous Rambling

I spend hours in my garden. I spend a fair amount of time walking. I occasionally am forced to drive an hour or more in my car. I burn through good audio programs like Rob Ford burns through crack. I'm constantly running out of good free options. Well, I don't think that'll happen again any time soon. I found a goldmine of great audio at EWTN last weekend. Here's the link. There are well over a hundred programs that I want to listen to, including scores of The Journeys Home. * * * * * * * David Scott has published a new book: The Love That Made Mother Teresa: How Her Secret Visions and Dark Nights Can Help You Conquer the Slums of Your Heart. I haven't read it yet, but I'm sure it's good. * * * * * * * You can hear a Register Radio interview about the book here. * * * * * * * I'm still digging my Kindle. Yesterday's "Deal of the Day" was a collection of George Orwell essays for $1.99. Quite the snag. * * * * * * * Great Clint Eastwood pic from 1954:
