If you still haven't bought at least one of John Zmirak's Bad Catholic's Guides, you're missing out. The guy is brilliant, erudite, and funny. He deserves an audience as large as Chesterton enjoyed.

On a deeper level, beauty points to truth, and ugliness celebrates error. Compare the buildings of Catholic Habsburg Vienna to the Stalinist monstrosities of Moscow, or the ritual of a papal Mass to North Korean gymnastics exhibitions. I really could go on all day.
