Well, that was a bummer, but I suspect Louisville is merely the better team. It was frustrating that we didn't adjust quickly enough to a hot hand late the first half ("Put a man on him already!"), but it was a good game. Congrats to the Louisville Cardinals. * * * * * * * Is it me, or is NCAA basketball getting incredibly rough with sloppy reffing? I'm not blaming last night's loss on the officiating, not at all, but the reffing has been sloppy and the play rough all tournament. I was talking with a friend about this yesterday afternoon. He (not a Michigan or Louisville fan, btw) said he wasn't even going to watch the game because he was so fed up with how physical the game had become with the (apparent) blessing of the sloppy tournament referees. I couldn't disagree with him. * * * * * * * Here's a pic of my main garden, as of last Sunday. I was out of town Thursday through Saturday, so I had to put about ten hours into the gardening effort on Sunday. I was a bit sore Monday. * * * * * * * Of course, the weather calls for more snow this coming weekend. Man, it's out of control. Fortunately, I haven't planted anything outside that can't tolerate limited freezing temperatures, so I should be alright. But my indoor plants are itching to get outside and beginning to cause problems (mini peppers have already started to produce fruit). * * * * * * * That's it for today. A night meeting last night combined with the game have put me behind the eight ball.
